The school site before redesign had 13 menu items with limited navigation (other than the Back button). Some pictures and graphics needed to be updated and/or cleaned up. Site content needed to be updated and old information culled.

My work began with setting goals for the new site, creating a site map, using a card system to sort out menu items and find overlaps. I researched some long-tail keywords to determine placement on the Search Engine Results Page (SERP) and took some steps to improve SEO. All material transferred from the old site was edited for spelling and readability. Several design assets were created or recreated including social media buttons, a school tour call-to-action button, and a cleaned up logo. I created and implemented an online application form and style guide. The WordPress site was created in MAMP and transferred to the web host upon completion. I attempted to streamline and link all social media accounts to the website.
